(More customer reviews)We cook together a lot as a family, so our kids have been given cookbooks from time to time. I find it frustrating, because without fail, they require convenience products that we do not normally purchase (frozen waffles, canned biscuits, marshmallow fluff, canned soup). The recipes in this book, on the other hand, have simple ingredients that we will already have in our pantry! We got the cookbook and were able to make something from it that very evening. What a change, and what a relief. And honestly, isn't part of the point to teach your kids how to do things like measure flour and stir?
